- Fill your saucepan to the3/4 mark with hot or boiling water (straight from the kettle or zip tap).
- Add a good slurp of vinegar – any is fine, brown, white whatever you have in the cupboard.
- Now gently place your egg/eggs in the hot water bring the water and eggs to boil.
- From the moment the water is boiling put a timer on for 5 minutes for extra large eggs in 3 – 4 minutes for smaller eggs.
- Cook your toast and cut into soldiers.
