INGREDIENTS
- 8 Beetroots
- 4 Onions
- Honey
- Garlic
- Olive Oil
- Rosemary
- Salt & Pepper
- Desiree Potatoes
- flour
- Butter
- Steak
- 2 tablespoons of Horseradish
- 1 Small container of Sour Cream
METHOD
- Peel 8 large beetroot and 4 Onions.
- Cut 4 red onions into quarters.
- Cut beetroots into eights
- Add to a pan with a good dollop of honey, olive oil, garlic (do not peel! Put whole cloves in), rosemary, salt and a bit of pepper.
- Cook quite quickly so they are still crunchy!
- Add 2 tablespoons of horseradish into a small container of sour cream. Stir *Keep this to the side
- Grate Desiree potatoes and put them in the microwave for about 4 minutes with half a 1cm of water. cover with cling wrap.
- Add flour to the grated potatoes and mix. With your hands make a patty.
- Fry in the pan with a small dab of olive oil, butter, and salt.
- Start them on high heat and turn them down quickly once they start to brown.
- Then BBQ your steak to your liking.
Plate on a bed of rocket with coriander and add your horseradish dressing too.
