INGREDIENTS
- Chicken Tenderloins- 150gms per person
- Silvered almonds
- Spring onions
- Best Foods mayonnaise
- Cream
- Salt and pepper
- Celery (thin slices)
- white bread
- multi-grain bread
**(loaves depend on how many people you are catering for)
METHOD
** This method is very simple and doesn’t have quantities as it really does depend on how many people you are cooking for!
- Boil your chicken tenderloins – remember to keep an eye on them as you want them just cooked!
- Remove the cooked chicken from the water and cut into fine slices. Allow the chicken to cool to a warm temperature.
- Toast your slivered almonds
- Finely slice your spring onions and use the white and green bits.
- With your chicken in a large bowl, add a HUGE dollop or two… or three of Best Foods Mayonnaise. This really depends on how much chicken you have.
- Now add a slurp or two of cream. This cuts through the real mayonnaise taste.
- Put in your almonds and spring onions.
- Add a good amount of salt and pepper.
- Use a loaf of white bread and a load of multigrain. One Slice of White and one slice of Multigrain per sandwich.
- I like to add small slices of celery to each sandwich (you could add it to your mixture before putting it on the bread)
- Cut your sandwiches into 4’s and you’re done!
YUM!!
